Why do all actors have white teeth?

So, how do the vast majority of celebs, from Matt Damon to Emma Watson, achieve such perfect teeth? One word: veneers. Cosmetic dentistry (veneers and no-prep veneers in particular) is the only sure-fire way to get a Hollywood-level smile.

What do all celebrities have in common (beyond flat tummies and great bone structure)? Perfect smiles. You may not notice it immediately, but the vast majority of on-camera celebs have stellar smiles. You’re probably more likely to notice when a celebrity doesn’t have such a nice smile; in a sea of pearly whites, they’re a lot more obvious. Take a look at Steve Buscemi’s smile if you don’t believe us. So, how do the vast majority of celebs, from Matt Damon to Emma Watson, achieve such perfect teeth? One word: veneers. Cosmetic dentistry (veneers and no-prep veneers in particular) is the only sure-fire way to get a Hollywood-level smile. In the 80s and 90s, veneers were incredibly popular because they could give most anyone a perfect smile in only a few dental appointments. Their popularity tapered off in the 00s until a recent rise in interest in veneers thanks to Hollywood’s influence. More and more people are beginning to see just how transformative veneers can be — for celebs and non-celebs alike.

Great smile transformation, Niall Horan!

What are veneers?

Veneers are thin porcelain overlays that sit on top of your teeth. Dentists make them custom for every patient so the shape, size, and shade are totally up to the patient. In order for veneers to fit over the teeth, dentists have to shave off a very small part of the natural enamel (this is called “prepping”). Because so many patients were turned-off of getting prepped veneers, dentists recently developed no-prep veneers which are thinner and can fit over un-prepped teeth. If you ever get tired of no-prep veneers, a dentist can easily remove them, revealing undamaged teeth underneath. Just in our office, the introduction of no-prep veneers saw a huge rise in patients who were interested in getting veneers. With no-preps, you can get that perfect Hollywood smile without committing to veneers for life.

Should I get veneers?

Veneers aren’t right for everyone — at least, not at first. Some people come into our office wanting that classic Hollywood smile but they have tooth decay and gum disease. Dr. Bobbi could easily place veneers over decay and disease (like some dentists do) but she doesn’t since that frequently creates a host of problems for the patient. Instead, she treats any underlying infection before crafting and placing the veneers. We want our patients to have beautiful and healthy smiles. Come in for a free consultation to see if veneers are right for you!

Khloe Kardashian has denied using the diabetes medicine Ozempic to reduce her weight. Kardashian fans suspected that Khloe and sister Kim had used Ozempic to lose 16 pounds in time for the Met Gala, unwittingly prompting huge demand for obesity drug. Kim later asserted that she had lost weight in a healthy way, commenting on how diet, a sauna suit, and twice-daily runs have helped. Khloe has denied using the medicine. In response, a follower commented “The fact that she uses di[a]betic medicine to get this skinny is disturbing”. Khloe quickly replied ‘Let’s not discredit my years of working out. I get up 5 days a week at 6am to train. Please stop with your assumptions. I guess new year still means mean people.’ Ozempic uses the active ingredient semaglutide and is produced by pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk. A TikTok-led craze for the obesity drug had resulted in a worldwide shortage last year. The shortage left many patients with type 2 diabetes without essential medication. Over the summer, the medicine went viral on TikTok as a treatment for people trying to lose weight, and unsubstantiated rumours that celebrities like the Kardashians were taking it for weight reduction began to circulate.
