Low Potassium Nuts

Macadamia nuts and pecans are at the bottom of the list for potassium content. A 1-ounce serving of macadamia nuts contains 104 milligrams of potassium, while the same portion of pecans has 116 milligrams. Both of these values represent 2 percent of the recommended daily intake for potassium. Pecans and macadamia nuts aren’t the best choices for a few other reasons besides their low potassium. Compared to nuts with the most potassium, they have more calories and fat and only about half the protein.
