Why do I love protein coffee so much?

I would be embarrassed to tell you how frequently protein coffee is a part of my world. I love the act of drinking coffee. It’s a ritual at our house. I love the way coffee tastes. I love the way it makes me feel. And I love the all the fun flavors I can use to mix it up. When I first started counting macros and being honest with myself about how much sugary creamer I was using, I quickly saw that my old coffee ways needed an upgrade if I had any hope of hitting my macros. That’s when I learned all about Protein Coffee. To this day, most of my mornings still start with the traditional version, but with the summer heat, I knew I needed, and more importantly our MacroEd crew needed an iced option. Thus Iced Protein Coffee was born. Use the recipe as-written or switch it up with cold brew coffee for a stronger punch.

My Favorite 1st Phorm Protein Flavors for Coffee

As for flavors, I’m partial to Level 1 Chocolate Milkshake and Level 1 Cinnamon Cookie Batter, but feel free to experiment. Kinda crazy about the German Chocolate Cake in this recipe too. Any of the Level 1 or Phormula 1 flavors will work.

What is the difference between Level 1 and Phormula 1?

Level 1 will create a thicker coffee and Phormula 1 will create a thinner one.
